Why God made knees.

My days have no beginning and no end. That is a blessing. They are only differentiated by when I kneel in prayer before I turn off the lights and go to my bedroom and when I kneel in prayer before I stay up for the day.

Though throughout the day I often pray the Our Father or simply talk to God in my own words, I kneel in prayer at least twice a day because it feels right. It feels good. It feels real. It stops me, literally, in my tracks. Though my brain sometimes is still running, thinking, spinning, whirling when I first kneel in prayer, soon it forces my thoughts to be right there in the moment with my God.

My all-loving, powerful, healing God.

Wherever you are – in the universe, in your head, in your life, stop and kneel in prayer.

If you are out of a job, got fired, quit, confused, on drugs, lost, directionless, scared, and living a life not like you had imagined and dreamed and hoped when you were younger, stop and kneel in prayer.

God heals. God provides. God listens.

All things are possible through the power of prayer.

Do the footwork. Do the homework. Use the gifts God has given you. If you can build beautiful things from wood, build. If you can draw, create. If you can golf, swing that club. If you can nurture a garden, plant.

Every single person has been given gifts from God.

What are yours?

Discover, uncover, share, use, and embrace yours.

If, right now, you can’t physically get on your knees, surely spiritually, emotionally, or mentally you still can.
